The R+D+i on AI Award category went to the Francisco de Vitoria University. Carme Artigas, Secretary of State for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence, has been in charge of delivering it to Álvaro García Tejedor, director of the CEIEC – Francisco de Vitoria University and Emilio Delgado Martos, deputy director of Research at the Polytechnic School – Francisco de Vitoria University.
The deliberation of these awards has been chaired by Carme Artigas, Secretary of State for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence, who has been accompanied by nine experts in Artificial Intelligence belonging to the Administration, the business world, the University and, also, members of the Organizing Committee of the AMETIC AI Summit 2022.
At the awards ceremony, he also stressed that “artificial intelligence is no longer the future, it is the present; and the level of our country is surprising. Both at the level of inclusion, as well as sustainability and health, where we have seen great examples at the public and state level”.
