[:es]A finales del Junio, miembros del CEIEC asistirán como ponentes al congreso internacional International Workshop on Self-Organizing Maps and Learning Vector Quantization, Clustering and Data Visualization. Allí presentaran el artículo «Competencies in higher education: a feature analysis with self-organizing maps». Dicho trabajo ha sido realizado por Alberto Nogales y Álvaro García Tejedor junto a las profesoras Noemy Martín y Teresa de Dios, ambas profesoras de la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. El trabajo consiste en el análisis de perfiles de alumnos de Psicología mediante la aplicación de modelos neuronales no supervisados para obtener los llamados mapas autoasociativos o mapas de Kohonen.[:en]By the end of June, CEIEC members will assist as speakers to the International Workshop on Self-Organizing Maps and Learning Vector Quantization, Clustering and Data Visualization. There, they will present the paper called «Competencies in higher education: a feature analysis with self-organizing maps». This work has been done by Alberto Nogales and Álvaro García Tejedor alongside with lecturers Noemy Martín and Teresa de Dios, both from the School of Psychology at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. The work consists of analysing profiles of Psychology students by applying unsupervised neural models to obtain autoasociative clusters or Kohonen maps.[:]
