El próximo 25 de Octubre el CEIEC junto con la empresa Avanade organizará el segundo Datathon destinado a introducir a los alumnos del Grado de Informática en el mundo del Data Science después del éxito que tuvo la primera edición. La jornada se iniciará con la apertura por parte del director del instituto Álvaro García Tejedor. A continuación se impartirá un taller de Python para Data Scientist para que los alumnos se vayan familiarizando con el reto.
Tras esto, se iniciará la competición que consistirá en presentar un caso de uso mediante el uso de un dataset con información crímenes en la ciudad de Denver durante varios años. Para el desarrollo de los proyectos, los participantes contarán con la ayuda de los becarios del CEIEC.
Next October 25th, CEIEC with the support of Avanade company will organize the second Datathon destined to introduce the students of the Degree of Informatics in the world of the Data Science after the success that had the first edition. The day will begin with the opening by CEIEC’s head, Álvaro García Tejedor. Next, a Python course for Data Scientist will be given so that the students can familiarize themselves with the challenge.
After this, the competition will begin, which will consist of developing an original use case making use of a dataset storing information about crimes in Denver. For the development of the projects, the students will count with the help of the CEIEC interns.
