First paper of the year published by Alvaro José García Tejedor and Alberto Nogales Moyano and co-authored with angiovascular surgeon Fernando Gallardo and former CEIEC intern Miguel Pajares Hernández. In this paper titled “A semiautomatic method for obtaining a predictive deep learning model and a rule-based system for abdominal aortic aneurysms“, we have designed a workflow that starting with a structured dataset can obtain a predictive model and a decision rule system by applying classical machine learning techniques and deep learning models. The method has been tested in use case related to survival in abdominal aortic aneurysm surgeries. Available soon at JCR Journal of Intelligent Information Systems.
