By the end of June, CEIEC members will assist as speakers to the International Workshop on Self-Organizing Maps and Learning Vector Quantization, Clustering and Data Visualization. There, they will present the paper called “Competencies in higher education: a feature analysis with self-organizing maps”. This work has been done by Alberto Nogales and Álvaro García Tejedor alongside with lecturers Noemy Martín and Teresa de Dios, both from the School of Psychology at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. The work consists of analysing profiles of Psychology students by applying unsupervised neural models to obtain autoasociative clusters or Kohonen maps.
